German TV making Vietnamese landscape film

Germany’s ZDF TV channel started to shoot the first scenes of their film about Vietnamese tourism, namely “Vietnam – Dreaming Boat” in Halong City, Quang Ninh Province on January 11.

The film is part of a series about famous landscapes which ZDF has been introducing over the past 25 years, namely No-port Boat. This series features an around-the-world tour of a German ship discovering the world’s most strikingly beautiful areas.

The German film makers worked in Halong Bay from January 11 to 13 and they will move to the southern province of Ben Tre, Hoi An Town, My Son Sanctuary and Danang City in the central region. They will finish on February 28. The film will be broadcast on ZDF in mid or late 2008.
